Thinking Good Thoughts (For Dad)
The hardest task
is smiling
when you are so pissed off
you could pop.
Even harder -
smiling when you are bent over
with amazing, paranormal nausea
that is supposed to heal you.
Every good thought is a gossamer feather tossed around the ethers
waiting to collide
with anyone
who needs it.
Somewhere out there is an entire bird, waiting just for you.
