It is worth it
If you ever noticed
that the rags
under the sink
were so neatly folded,
I would die.
When you pay our bills
you chew
on the tip
of a pencil.
As you wake up
you always smile.

Sometimes when reading this I wonder how facetious you are or are not, because this one is beautiful. Like, I want to draw this poem. Maybe I will!
1) I have never seen the word 'facetious' written out before. I have only ever heard it spoken, so I had to look it up to make sure it was the word I thought it was :)
2)Thank you so much for your kind feedback!
3)Sometimes I'm facetious, sometimes I am not. I could be coy and not say more, but I am an attention whore and will tell you that this poem is a real live love poem.
4) Draw away! Once I post it, it's yours to keep. I like inspiring others, especially since so many others inspire me.
5) Have a nice day :)
Re: 1st stanza: die of embarrassment or glee?
Ah, don't answer, the poem is better in that it could be either :)
I promise I won't tell you. Even if you bribe me with expensive whiskey and a belly rub.
